    Picual olive oil is a variant of Extra Virgin Olive oil that comes from the olive variety picual. It is an autochthonous species from Spain and is considered the queen of olives, as it is one of the most produced varieties in the country.

    This olive is mainly located in Jaén, although we can find it in Granada, Córdoba and Seville. It is one of the most popular olive oil varieties in the world.

    Spanish olive oil Picual has a high stability against oxidation, rancidity and high temperature cycles.

    It contains 80% oleic acid, a much higher amount than in other oils. It is an essential property, as one of the best olive oils, to include it in a completely healthy diet.

    Olivapalacios is a family business dedicated to the production and packaging of high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). Olive groves and oil mills are located in the Campo de Calatrava region, in the province of Ciudad Real, Spain - which has been considered an area for the production of olive oil since time immemorial. It is located on land of volcanic origin that is very rich in nutrients and with an exceptional climate for olive growing. The two varieties of olives, Picual and Arbequina, are grown and collected in the olive grove of almost 300 hectares and processed in their oil mill. Since 2009, we innovate with the highest technology, sustainable and respectful of the environment in every part of the production process.
