    Picual olive oil is a variant of Extra Virgin Olive oil that comes from the olive variety picual. It is an autochthonous species from Spain and is considered the queen of olives, as it is one of the most produced varieties in the country.

    This olive is mainly located in Jaén, although we can find it in Granada, Córdoba and Seville. It is one of the most popular olive oil varieties in the world.

    Spanish olive oil Picual has a high stability against oxidation, rancidity and high temperature cycles.

    It contains 80% oleic acid, a much higher amount than in other oils. It is an essential property, as one of the best olive oils, to include it in a completely healthy diet.

The two varieties of olives, Picual and Arbequina, are grown and collected in the olive grove of almost 300 hectares and processed in their oil mill.     Fresh green aromas: intense green fruity, with positive and balanced bitter and spicy properties. It has a medium bitterness, which is considered a positive property of extra virgin olive oil. Also fruity and herbal aromas and flavors with hints of aromatic herbs and tomato. Delicious, tasty and complex. This type of oil is ideal for cooking at high temperatures: e.g. fried, breaded and batter. Perfect as a preservative for sausages, meat, cheeses and for canned food in general.
